Bio

I grew up in the Ardmore area and graduated from Dickson High School in 1986.  Following one year of study at Murray State College, I moved to Weatherford, Oklahoma, where I completed my degree in education.  In 1991, I moved to Anadarko where I began my first year of teaching at what was then called Anadarko Junior High School.  I completed my master's degree in English in 1995 and moved to the high school level.  In 2002 I became a National Board Certified teacher.  I earned a second master's degree in administration in 2009.  After being a classroom teacher for 22 years, I took on the role of instructional coach at the high school in 2013.

My husband, Kenneth, and I reside in Anadarko with our three children, Tristan, Caleb, and Blake.
